Wrong Size? More Trouble Than No Nut at All
A spring channel nut is a small part. But picking the wrong size creates real problems.
Too big → won’t fit into the strut channel
Too small → won’t tighten, loose structure
Wrong thread → bolt won’t go in at all
So before you order, get the size right.

How to Confirm the Size You Need
Step 1: Measure your bolt or threaded rod
Spring Channel Nut size refers to its internal thread. You need to know:
- Thread diameter
- Thread pitch
Step 2: Check your strut channel width
Standard strut channel width is 41mm. If yours is non-standard, we can customize matching nuts.
Step 3: Evaluate your load requirement
Light load → M6
Medium load → M8
Heavy load → M12 or larger
Not sure? Going one size up is safer than going one size down.
Standard vs Custom
Situation Suggestion
Standard 41mm channel, medium load Choose standard M8 or M10
Imperial thread (e.g., 1/4″-20) Need custom imperial thread
Non-standard channel width Need custom nut shape
Very heavy load Need thicker material or special heat treatment
